The First National Bank of Arenzville is proud to announce some exciting changes in their management line-up. Effective immediately, South Jacksonville Branch Manager Christina Lomelino has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and new hire Cory Winters moves to management of the South Jacksonville Branch. The announcement was made by First National Bank President Kai Schnitker, “we are constantly looking for ways to strengthen our management team. This was a move that will create a lot of exciting new opportunities within the bank.” According to Schnitker, hiring Winters came about due to some recent changes in the market. “We are so happy to be announcing the addition of Cory Winters to the First National Bank Family. Cory comes to us with extensive loan and branch management experience. We feel this is a position that can make best use of his skills and knowledge of the market. First National Bank has proven to be a fantastic fit for Cory’s ideas and attitudes about the banking experience and customer service.” Winters joins FNBA with more than nine years in the banking industry. He has worked as a branch manager in both Waverly and Jacksonville. For the past year, he has been doing loan work in Jacksonville. Winters’ post with FNBA will be as Branch Manager at the South Jacksonville Branch and Loan Officer. Winters is no stranger to South Jacksonville. He was born and raised there and lived in South Jacksonville until 2014. Winters is a 2000 Graduate of Routt Catholic High School and an ’05 grad of the University of Illinois. Winters currently lives in Jacksonville with his wife, Emily, and son, Connor. He is serving as United Way Board President for 2018-19, is a former Routt School Board Member and recently joined the Jacksonville Rotary Club.
Christina Lomelino has been a part of the First National Bank family for thirteen years. She started with the bank shortly after graduating Jacksonville High School in 2004. Her first post was as a part time teller but she quickly moved to full time teller. Lomelino then added loan assistant to her resume and, finally, Loan Officer in 2010. Lomelino was promoted to Branch manager at the South Jacksonville Branch in January of 2012. Lomelino says the move to Assistant V.P. is an exciting opportunity. “I’ve always loved being a part of the First National Bank family. In my new position I hope to be able to add to the strengths that make FNBA such a great place to work and bank.” Lomelino is a native of Jacksonville who moved to Chapin in 2012 with her husband George and their three sons. She is a 2010 graduate of Illinois College. Schnitker says he sees great things coming out of this change. “Christina has always been an outstanding part of First National Bank. We’ve always wanted her in a larger management role, but we didn’t want to leave the South Jacksonville branch without her strong leadership. Bringing in Cory means our South Jacksonville branch is in good hands. Christina is free to focus on her new duties as Asst. V.P.”
