The First National Bank of Arenzville is pleased to announce the appointment of John Nienhiser to the bank’s Board of Directors. Mr Nienhiser’s term began on December 19, 2024.

John is a 5th generation farmer from the Chapin, Illinois area, and is a managing principle of Walnut Creek LLC. John is currently serving as Vice President of Mid-West Co-ops and has been manager of a regional co-op for 42 years. John is also Treasurer of St. Paul’s Church and Grace Cemetery Association.  

John is a lifelong rural Chapin, Illinois resident, a private pilot, and certified NRA instructor. He and his wife Beverly have one son and two granddaughters. His hobbies are shooting sports and sprint cars. 

The First National Bank of Arenzville looks forward to working with John. He is very active in our community, and brings an abundance of experience that will be of great benefit to the bank’s team.
